Our History

The Sudbury Counselling Centre has provided individual, couple and family counselling since 1971. Over the years it has expanded to offer a broad range of services to respond to the needs of the community.

We are an incorporated charitable, non profit agency, formerly known as “Sudbury Family Services”.

Every year, our community programs help over 1700 individuals and families facing challenges. By offering excellent services and programs we build a healthier community.

In 1982, the Sudbury Counselling Centre was one of the first to develop the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in Sudbury, which supports both Employers and Employees.

Celebrating over 40 years of dedicated service!

Our agency provides counselling and support services to children, teenagers, adults, couples and families.

Individual companies and agencies benefit from our customized EAP workshops and seminars, in addition to individual counselling.
